Dixie L. Curtis (August 20, 1932 – May 22, 2012)

Dixie L. Curtis, 79, of Zanesville, formerly of Columbus, died at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Adams Lane Care Center, Zanesville. She was born August 20, 1932 in Perry County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Guisinger Craig. Dixie was a self-employed Antique Dealer and a Protestant by faith.
Surviving are two sons, Terry ( Marsha) Hutchinson and Jay C. Hutchinson both of Zanesville; Three daughters, Marilyn Sue ( Tom) Coffee, Jacalyn (Carl) Caplinger all of Zanesville and Merry (Bill) Crawmer of Nashport; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two sisters, Linda( Hank) Lancaster and Glenna(Jim) Jenkins both of Zanesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Curtis whom died on July 22, 2002; a daughter; a sister and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2012 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue. Dixie will be laid to rest beside her husband Jerry, at New Straitsville Cemetery, New Straitsville, Ohio.
