When it’s time to deal with the snow from this latest storm there is some help.
We stopped by the Do It Center to see what key items they recommend for winter weather.
“They should have some kind of ice melt or snow melt or a snow shovel. If the roads get bad they’ve got something there to work with. We have things for cars. To clean windshields if you have to get out and it’s snow covered. We have a products called liquid snow shovel. We also have tube sand which is something you can put in the back of your tuck for extra traction,” said Assistant Manager Dennis Baldwin.
Baldwin said there are several different products you can purchase. There are pre-treatment products and products for when the snow has already fallen.
“We’ve got two kinds of ice melt and snow melt, rock salt and ice melt and shovels. You don’t want to get something too big or too heavy. Because if the snow is heavy and wet it’s going to be rough to move around,” said Baldwin.
Baldwin said weather permitting the Do It Center will be operating during regular business hours.
