Do You Have A Case Of “Spring Fever”?
It may still be snowy outside, but the Muskingum Valley Garden Society’s annual “Spring Fever” home gardening symposium is right around the corner.
The event will be held on Saturday, March 7th at Ohio University Zanesville. The all local event will showcase different ideas for spring and summer gardening. Each year the society brings something new and different to the symposium, and this year there will be two guest speakers. The event always takes place the first weekend in March, as a kick-off to the spring gardening season. It’s a great way for people to shake off those winter blues.
“Absolutely, get rid of that cabin fever. We also will provide everyone with a breakfast and great lunch buffet. So for $25.00 they get two wonderful speakers, local people to help answer their questions, some wonderful door prizes, silent auction, and lots of neat ideas to use in your garden this year,” said President of the Muskingum Valley Garden Society, Kathy Mohler.
