Dog of the Week is Looking for ‘All the Love’

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–Chloe is the affection seeking dog of the week who is looking for a forever home.

The four-year-old boxer mix is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. Muskingum County K-9 Adoption Center Volunteer Doug McQuaid says she is a fun loving dog.

“Really don’t act like she’s ever met a stranger,” McQuaid said. “She would be a great dog for any family, and especially someone that would like to interact with her. She likes to sit beside you and be petted and so forth. Just get all the love she can possibly get.”

Chloe is still a young dog and has some energy to burn, which is why she loves to walk. McQuaid says she would be perfect for a family with kids or a family of walkers.

“Someone that would enjoy going on walks on a daily basis (because) that’s one of the things she does like to do a lot. With her being four years old, she still has a little bit of energy where she could walk a distance. So if you’re even a long walker, that would be great too. “

The adoption center has a dog food pantry that is free to the public. People can call the center or stop by to receive supplies.
