‘Doggie Day’

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center wants to introduce you to a new furry face.

Roxy is a three-year-old mix that has been at the Muskingum County Dog Wardenand Adoption Center since October. Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan said she’s a very personable dog that would make a great addition to a family.

“She does really good with other dogs and she seems to do really good with children too,” said  Calihan.

Her adoption fee is $105 and she’s ready to be adopted immediately. She loves to play but, loves to cuddle even more.

“She for as young as she is, she’s just very calm. She’s not super energetic. She just likes to sleep, hang out, and you can tell. She’s not little like a typical lap dog, but she certainly thinks she is,” said  Calihan.

The adoption center is also having an adoption event on Saturday, December 9th. Santa will be there and all adoption fees are going to be $95. The volunteers will be paying for the dog tags. The event is running from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
