‘Doggie Day’: Ali

Doggie Day Ali

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center have a new puppy for you to meet on this weeks ‘Doggie Day.’

The adoption center furry friends name is Ali. She is a terrier mix, who is less than a year old. Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan said she’s a timid puppy, but loves to play.

“She’s a little timid and scared, so she definitely likes being around people. When we have her down, she wants up on my lap. I think she’s seeking comfort in people. So that’s why she’s being so calm, but I have seen her outside and she definitely has a lot of puppy energy in her,” said Calihan.

She was a stray picked up at the start of the New Year and she will be ready to be adopted starting January 17th. She’s a dog who really enjoys being dressed up.

“She loves to wear accessories and clothes. So, if you like to dress up your dog, Ali would be the perfect dog for you. We don’t know her story but wherever she came from you can tell she wants people, wants affection. She might not of have much of it in a previous life but, she will definitely get that now,” said Calihan.

If you would like to meet Ali, you can set up a meeting by calling the Adoption Center at 740-453-0273.
