‘Doggie Day:’ Bentley

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center has a dog looking for a family to call his own.
This is Bentley. He was an owner surrender back in December. He is 11-years-old and wants to spend the rest of his older years with a family.
“We’re hoping that he can be in an only dog home. Right now, the only thing he can do is just sleep in his dog bed. A home environment where he can just relax and chill would probably be best for him,” said Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan.
Calihan said he would do best in a single dog family. She says Bentley knows several tricks and appears to be potty trained.
“He can sit and he can speak on command. He likes people, we call him old man. He barks at everybody in his kennel but once you get him out he’s fine,” said Calihan.
His adoption fee is the standard $105. For more information, you can contact the adoption center at 740-453-0273.
