Doggie Day: Jill and Jackie

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- We have two dogs for you to meet on this week’s Doggie Day.

This is Jackie and Jill and they are sisters. Jill is in the red collar and Jackie is in the blue collar. They look very similar and sometimes they are hard to tell which one is which.

They look exactly alike, the only way we can tell them apart is by the collar. So that’s why we have to keep the blue collar and the red collar on them,” said Deputy Dog Warden Brittany Calihan.

Calihan said it would be great if they could be adopted together but, it’s not a necessity. She said they do well together but, are also fine apart. She said these two dogs are incredibly good and sweet.

“They just want to sit in your lap and just give you love and attention. When they’re in the play area, they really like playing with the toys and playing with each other, but they don’t forget that you’re there. They come over and they definitely say hey, you’re still here with us,” said Calihan.
