Doggie Day: Meet “Champ”
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A new champion is winning the hearts of many at The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center.
Champ is a loving and playful pup who arrived to the adoption center earlier this month.
“This is Champ. He came in April 10th with his little daughter we do believe. He ended up actually being an owner surrender so they came over and surrendered him to us, so he’s now ours and he’s available for adoption. As you can tell he is very affectionate and very loving. The first time I ever met champ, this is what he did he walked right up to me, popped up on my lap and laid his head on me,” said Deputy Dog Warden, Brittany Calihan.
Deputy Dog Warren Brittany Calihan said for families looking for the perfect pet, Champ is certainly the one for you.
“He seems like he could work with any family. He pays really no attention to the other dogs here but if you do have dogs you can bring them and we can do a meet and greet. We can try and cat test him if you have a cat and he seems like he would do good with kids and if you have kids you can bring them up too,” said Calihan.
Champ is between the ages of one and two years old and cost one hundred and five dollars to adopt. For more information regarding Champ and other pups you can contact the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center.
