Doggie Day: Theo

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A puppy at the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is ready to find his forever home.
Theo is an 11 month old pit-mix, who unfortunately has spent almost his entire life as a puppy at the dog warden. Deputy Dog Warden, Brittany Calihan, said he still has a couple months to enjoy his puppy stage outside of the center.
“He’s good. Like I said, you can tell he’s very young,” said Calihan. “He’s a sweet dog. He does good on walks, but you can definitely tell he’s young, but that’s not a bad thing it’s not that he’s too hyper or anything, he’s just got a lot of energy.”
Calihan said Theo will do commands, but only for his favorite treat. She said he would fit in with just about any family.
“I don’t know how he does with cats, I don’t think he would particularly like them. He does seem to like the other dogs here, but we always want people to bring their dogs up with them,” Calihan explained. He just really seems to get along with anyone.”
Calihan said Theo is neutered and up to date on all of his shots, so he’s ready to go home.
