Donald C. ”Don” Ferrell (October 5, 1937 – March 31, 2012)

Donald C. ”Don” Ferrell, 74 of Zanesville , OH died 7:35 AM Saturday, March 31, 2012 at his residence following a long illness.

He was born October 05, 1937 in Logan WV the son of Charles Whitlock and Brooks L.(Ferrell) Ferrell.

He was Baptist by Faith, an avid lover of all types of music. was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He retired as a painter in the construction industry.

Don is survived by 6 children: Timmie Lynn Tate, Louise (Edwin) Rodiguez , Donald Ferrell Jr., Kathy (Monty) Hale, Teresa Ferrell all of Zanesville and Amanda Oliver of Columbus; 44+ grandchildren; 41+ great grandchildren; two brothers: Tommy and Melvin “Uncle Jr.” and one sister: Peggy Sailor.

In addition to his parents he was preceded In death by his wife: Mary Ferrell who died Oct 7, 2010, two sisters; a daughter: Donna Ferrell Gillman; a son: Gerald “Jerry” Ferrell; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Friends may call two hours prior to the funeral service from 10 – 12 Noon on Tuesday April 3rd at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue where services will be held at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
