Donald “Don” George Urbanski, 65, of Zanesville died at 9:51 PM Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Genesis Health Hospital following an apparent Heart Attack.

He was born on Friday, August 28, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late George Anton Urbanski and Jacqueline Arleen Werowski Urbanski.

Don was a veteran of the United States Army. He was in the 24th infantry division. Donald G. Urbanski was the most amazing man that I have had the greatest honor to be his son!! It was my pleasure to call Donald my father and Dad calls me his son. Donald could walk into a silent room and fill it full of laughter. Donald was a wonderful husband to my mother, Angela Armstrong and to Donna Bonadies. Donald was a kind unconditional loving father. He was the truest friend to all his loved ones!! If you asked him for help, he would always be right there.

Donald was an absolute adventurer. He loved to fish in the most difficult spots, he loved jokes, bowling and the Casino! Donald was an easy-going man who you could talk to for hours about anything. Donald’s heart was full of love. He was a true legend. Donald was so proud of all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was especially proud of his two grandsons, that have enlisted in the U.S. Army. Donald will be greatly missed and forever loved the best dad, Grandfather and friend a kid could have.

Don is survived by his wife, Donna Bonadies; first wife, Angela L. Armstrong; a son Anthony (Najma) Armstrong; four grandchildren, Michael, Isaiah, Allysia and Anthony II; two great granddaughters, Samantha and Ruth Armstrong; his brother and best friend, Joe Johnson; and a niece, Dominique (Brian) Wolf.

No services will be held at this time.
