Donald R. Ayres (March 21, 1933 – June 5, 2016)

Donald Ray Ayres, 83, of Zanesville, died at 3:55 A.M. Sunday, June 5, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 21, 1933, in Zanesville, a son of the late Robert and Doris Perone Ayres. He retired from Brockway Glass after 39 years.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Kronenbitter Ayres, whom he married February 20, 1956; daughters, Bonnie (Robert) Fisher and Connie (Pete) LaPlante; sons, Donald Ayres Jr. and Ronald (Jo) Ayres; grandchildren, Kari (Matt) Culberson, Kelly (Jake) Garn, Jordan Ayres, Matt Fisher and Adam (Nikki) Fisher; great grandchildren, Connor Garn, Julian Fisher and Gabe Salak.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bill Ayres; and two sisters, Dorothy Guard and Margarite Moore.
No services will be held. Arrangements were entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
