Donald Untied

Donald Louis Untied Sr., 82, of Frazeysburg, passed away Thursday morning, December 26, 2024, with his family by his side.

Born April 1, 1942, in Frazeysburg, Ohio, he was a son of the late Gerald and Etta Eileen (Jennings) Untied. Don was a heavy equipment operator and retired from The Shelly Company in 2008. When not working you could find Don enjoying the great outdoors, he was an avid outdoorsmen and hunter.

He leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Jane Marilyn (Paynter) Untied, whom he married on December 18, 1961; two sons, Donald Louis (Kimberly) Untied Jr. and Derrick (Beverly) Untied; two grandchildren, Kendall (Eric) Vorys and Denver (Jennifer) Untied; four great grandchildren, Logan (Audrey) Untied, Lane Untied, Haley and Avery Rutan; a brother, Gerald Untied Jr, sisters-in-law, Sally Albrecht and June Lacy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Austin and Ashley Untied; and two brothers, Mike and Wesley Untied.

Family and friends may visit from 11:00am – 1:00pm, Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, December 30, 2024, at the funeral home with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating.

Don will be laid to rest at Dresden Cemetery.
