Donna Lake

Donna M. Lake, 91, of Zanesville, passed away on Wed. Oct. 2, 2024 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House. She was born on Nov. 18, 1932 in Roseville, a daughter of the late Marion and Maude (Rucker) Skinner. Donna worked for decades at Campbell’s Foodtown in South Zanesville. She was a very active member of Uniontown Baptist Church in Fultonham where she was serving as the treasurer until last year. She was a long time treasurer of the Maysville Athletic Boosters and was the secretary of the Wednesday bowling league at Maysville Lanes for many years.

She is survived by three sons Gary (Sue) Lake, Larry (Denise) Lake, and Robert (Vicki) Lake. Six grandchildren Alex (Calli) Lake, Riley Lake, Sydney (Kyle) Bates, Ian (Miriam) Lake, Darci Lake, and Kyle Lake. Eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Robert “Bob” Lake and one sister Barbara (Richard) Stackhouse.

Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Mon. Oct. 7, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tue. Oct. 8, 2024 with Chris Harkness officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Uniontown Baptist Church.
