Donnetta Burns

Donnetta Kay Burns, 63 of Zanesville, died at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born Thursday, February 16, 1961, in Zanesville, the daughter of James E Burns and Hannah “Juanita” (Cairo) Burns.

She was an employee of the United Technologies for 8 years and the Putnam Pizza shop for 5 years. Donnetta enjoyed playing cards and gambling, especially the slots. She was a loving and caring daughter and sister who cared greatly for her family and loved her all fur babies.

Donnetta is survived by, four brothers, David (Bonnie) Burns, Luke Burns, Kenny (Jan) Smith and Jeff (Mel) Taylor, her special dogs, Kelly and Buddy and several nieces and nephews including special niece, Sydney Burns.

In addition to her parents, Donnetta was preceded in death by her loving companion, Steve Insley; one brother, Douglas Burns, one nephew, Jacob Burns and one aunt, Minnie Galliger.
