Dr. Philip Konrad
ZANESVILLE. Philip Konrad, 92, of Zanesville, formerly of Lodi, Ohio, died December 4, 2015 at Primrose Retirement. He was born July 7, 1923, a son of the late Philip and Emma Konrad.
He graduated from Lodi Ohio High School. After Officer Training, Philip served as a pilot with the Army Air Force. During World War II he took part in all the major European operations including the D-day Invasion.
He graduated from Baldwin Wallace College and Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry for 40 years in Zanesville.
Surviving is his wife, Jeanne, whom he married in August 195I; a daughter, Linda (Doug) of Vero Beach, Fla; a son, Jak (Kris) of Phoenix, Az and a son, Ward of Zanesville.
In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his sister, Ruth Simcox, of Homerville, Ohio and an infant son, William James.
No calling hours will be observed. A cremation has taken place and arrangements were entrusted to Bryan and Hardwick Funeral Home, 23 18 Maple Ave.
