Dresden Man Killed In Accident

A Dresden man was killed in an early morning accident.  The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol says that it happened around 5 a.m. on State Route 60 north near Airy View Drive in a construction zone.  Sergeant Chuck Merryman says it involved a concrete truck and a motorcycle. Sergeant Merryman says the truck – driven by 65-year-old John Snider of New Lexington – was traveling north on 60 and had stopped to make a left turn on Airy View Drive and then turned in front of the motorcycle which was traveling south.  Merryman says the rider on the cycle is identified as 40-year-old Chad Garey of Dresden.  Garey was pronounced dead at the scene.  The accident remains under investigation.
