PERRY COUNTY, Ohio – According to the Perry County Sheriff’s Office, on September 16, 2018 at approximately 1:36 a.m., Perry County Sheriff’s Deputy David Briggs along with his canine partner “Argo” investigated a suspicious vehicle parked in the lot of the TC Market on Zion Road in Thornport in Thorn Township.
It was found that the driver, 22-year-old Timothy E. Skinner of Ben Wheeler, Texas had just left the Legend Valley Music Venue that was hosting the Loss Lands music festival. Deputy Briggs ran “Argo” around the outside of the vehicle with “Argo” alerting to illegal drug odors.
A search of the vehicle revealed fifty-one (51) unit doses of Ecstasy, five (5) individually wrapped packages of cocaine and a large sum of currency. Skinner was arrested and transported to the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail where he is awaiting a bond hearing.
