Duncan Falls Man Charged In Wife Stabbing

A Muskingum County man has been charged in connection with the weekend stabbing of his wife.

 The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Timothy Erwin Sr. of Duncan Falls is facing one count of felonious assault and one count of domestic violence.

Sheriff Matt Lutz says the incident happened Sunday evening around 5:30 at 570 Main Street in Duncan Falls.

The victim, 49-year-old Joann Erwin, was stabbed twice. She remains in Good Samaritan Hospital in fair condition.

Erwin remains in the Muskingum County Jail pending a court date which has not been set.
