Dunkin’ Comes to Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Like Breakfast? Zanesville now has a new location that fuels its customers with morning favorites that are enjoyed worldwide.

A ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce Tuesday that welcomed a world-famous brand into the business community.

Dunkin’ Supervisor Scott Tallman shared his insight regarding the corporate decision to locate in Zanesville.

“What we did is… we were looking for a spot on Maple Avenue. Dunkin’ said that’s the spot where they want us to open. And so we’ve been looking here for 4 years. And I had approached the owner of this property before and they just wanted to do a land lease but eventually what they did is… once they couldn’t sell it or couldn’t lease it, then they sold it to me. But we wanted to be up here, up near the hospital,” Tallman said.

Dunkin’ began in 1950, as a doughnut shop in Boston, Massachusetts and has grown into one of America’s most recognized businesses.

Zanesville General Manager Aimee Rector attributed the diversity of Dunkin’s menu to one of the major reasons for Dunkin’s popularity.

“We have a variety of a menu. We have our breakfast sandwiches, we have of course coffees, doughnuts and every quarter we have different things that come out. And right now it’s our Smart Dinner Deal that starting tomorrow, we have the new thing that’s coming out. It’s the Watermelon Donut and a Kiwi-Watermelon Refresher,” Rector said.

Dunkin’ makes placing an order a slam dunk with their mobile ordering app, convenient drive-through and rewards programs.

The Zanesville Dunkin’ location is open daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 3516 Maple Avenue, between Big Sandy Superstore and Aldi.
