Dutro holiday drive drop-off

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Dutro has been busy collecting items for Salvation Army.
General Sales Manager Mark Falls said they have spent the last two Saturdays accepting food and toy donations at the Dutro building downtown. He said they were happy to drop off all of the donations Monday afternoon at the Salvation Army.
“Zanesville’s a very giving community, and like I said it’s the second year in a row, so both years it’s been very successful for us to be able to have this and do it where we did it at,” said Falls.
Mayor Jeff Tilton said there were so many people who came out to donate and that it was great to see the community come together.
“It’s great because those that are less fortunate will now have a toy, a meal, and that’s something that, I really thank everybody who donated,” said Mayor Tilton.
Mayor Tilton wanted to say a special thank-you to the staff at Dutro as well as to everyone who donated. He said if you missed the chance this year, they’ll be doing it again next holiday season.
