Easter Celebration at Secrest Auditorium This Sunday

This Sunday, The Anchor Church will be hosting its 6th Annual Easter Celebration at Secrest Auditorium.

Doors will open at 8:45 a.m. for free donuts and drinks. Each guest will receive a free gift too. There will be a kid’s celebration downstairs and an adult service in the upstairs area.

Cynthia Bounds, the Pastor’s wife at Anchor Church said there is going to be a lot of activities going on this Sunday.

“We are going to have choir singing and an interpretive sign language song and of course The Word of God. Our theme here is building lives for a greater purpose and that’s really our motive for this service, to help better the lives of the community,” said Cynthia Bounds.

Pastor Aaron Bounds said this event has been growing each year, so Secrest Auditorium is the best venue for the event.

“We have the event because we out grew our building and so we have invited the whole community to come. A lot of people don’t have home churches anymore. We want them to come celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with us. It’s going to be a fantastic time this year,” said Aaron Bounds.
