Eddie Palmer

Edward E. “Eddie” Palmer, 65, of Zanesville, Ohio died Monday morning, March 15, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Born January 3, 1956 in Zanesville, he was a son of the late Franklin E. and Rita G. (McBride) Palmer and was a 1974 graduate of West Muskingum High School.  Eddie was a former employee of Zanesville Mould.  He enjoyed truck and tractor pulls and spending time with his friends watching NASCAR and Ohio State football and basketball.

Surviving is one son, Franklin E. (Nikkie) Palmer, II and one daughter, Kristen Theisen both of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren, Makya Lee Palmer, Ciara Renee Palmer, Carson Eugene Palmer, Kylee Theisen and Matthew J. Chaffin; three brothers, David F. Palmer and Dennis A. Palmer, both of Zanesville, and Troy Myron Palmer of Columbus; four sisters Susan M. (Terry) Person of Hopewell, Ohio, Joy A. (Alan) Brookover, Shirley J. West and Nancy L. Griffiths, all of Zanesville.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, and a special great nephew, Kenny Agin and Kyle Agin both of Zanesville; a special aunt, Sharon Lee Whissel of Zanesville; and many cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street.  Calling will also be for one hour prior to the funeral service.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating.  Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
