Elizabeth F. “Betty” Peterson (November 22, 1941 – March 4, 2014)

Elizabeth (Betty) Peterson, 72, of Zanesville passed away on March 4, 2014. Betty was born November 22, 1941 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Bernard T. and Mary (Madden) Mullin. She relocated to Ohio with her family in 1964 and was the long-time beloved receptionist for Brenwood Hair Salon.

Betty is survived by 4 children, a daughter: Kelly (Doug) Moore of Zanesville, sons: Tim (Teri) Peterson of Newark, Tom (Joan) Hanrahan of Plantation, FL and Scott Hanrahan of Plain City. She has 7 grandchildren: Chris (Mackenzie) Peterson, Ryan Marshall, Jonathan Moore, Zachary and Kourtney Hanrahan and Nathaniel and Alana Hanrahan) and 4 great grandchildren: Grayson and Elle Peterson, Emmye Hanrahan and Hayden Sheppard. Also surviving is a sister: Lynn (Bill) Wilson of Hardwick, NJ and their children Perrin, Bri-Anne and Chris.

In accordance with Betty’s wishes, no services will be held. Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. is assisting Betty’s family with arrangements.
