Ella L. Wince (September 17, 1927 – May 31, 2015)

Ella L. Wince, of Zanesville, died at 2:48 A.M. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Brookdale of Zanesville. She was born September 17, 1927 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Oran and Lenora Mayle Chappelear. She retired in 1987 at the Zanesville City Schools in the Food Service Department. Ella enjoyed Line Dancing and was a member of the Renegade Boot Scooters in the 90’s and early 2000’s.

Surviving are three sons, Robert (Terry) Wince of Reynoldsburg, Gary Wince of Columbus and Jay (Lori) Wince of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Ryan (Tanya) Wince and Ashley (Andy) Coon; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Opal Dunn of Roseville, Evelyn Jesse of Zanesville, Emma Lou Gadd of Sun City, Florida and Ann Gray of Lancaster.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell D. Wince, who died January 14, 1992; two brothers, Eugene and Leonard Chappelear and three sisters, Rosetta McGee, Gloria Fenton and Alice Henkaline.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6 P.M. until time of funeral service at 8 P.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE. Burial will be at a later date at Zanesville Memorial Park beside her beloved husband, Darrell.
