Elnora Faulks

Elnora Faulks, born March 23, 1946, in Roanoke Virginia, Age 75, went home to be with the Lord, November 29, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lenora Burrell, and her father William Washington Burrell; her husband, Richard Faulks; and her daughter Cindy Burrell. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Burrell and Clarence (Slicky) Burrell.
She is survived by her beloved and dedicated daughter, Judy (Tony) Ransom; her Grandchildren, Brandon (Rachel) Ransom and Christopher Ransom; a Great-Grandchild, Bishop Ransom; her sister, Myrtle Smith; nieces, Robin Neff and Charmian Smith; nephews, Bobbie Burrell, Clarence (Hamp) Burrell, Coleman (Bebe) Burrell and Larry Burrell; close cousins, Cynthia Draughn, Dollie Knight, and Pennie Ollie; as well as a host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and family and friends
Elnora worked as a nurse’s aide and then as a social worker in nursing homes. She had a special calling, because she worked with Alzheimer’s patients. She received an Associate Degree in social work from MATC. Elnora was always helping others and always checking on others. She was a member of Glory Girls Bible group: she read her Bible everyday. She loved to dance, loved to travel and spend time with family. She loved watching movies and TV. Elnora was always paying someone a compliment. She loved to talk about old times and was always telling stories about the old days. She loved to cook with her daughter. Elnora was an amazing woman, who will be deeply missed.
You may call on the family Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with funeral service to follow at 12 p.m., at Burrell Funeral Services in Zanesville. Minister Craig West officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Memorial Estate, 8029 East Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
