EMA: Foam Blowing Across I-70 Investigated

The Muskingum County Emergency Management Agency had an unusual issue to deal with Sunday morning on I-70.  E-M-A Director Jeff Jadwin says authorities responded to a report of foam in the westbound lanes of the interstate near the Norwich exit.  Jadwin says he is not sure where the foam came from, but it has been determined there is no danger.  The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has been alerted to the issue and is investigating.  The Washington Township Fire Department also responded the scene.  The foam, which may be naturally occurring came from a nearby field and was blowing across the interstate, but was not considered dangerous.  The E-P-A is expected to investigate the incident Monday. Traffic has not been disrupted.
