In Loving Memory of Emma Bobo
With hearts full of both sorrow and gratitude, we announce that Emma Bobo was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on the morning of August 2, 2026. While we will miss her deeply, we find peace in knowing she is finally home—reunited with loved ones who went before her and resting in the presence of the One she faithfully loved and served.
If you knew Emma, you knew that family was her world. She loved fiercely, welcomed everyone with an open heart, and found her greatest joy simply being surrounded by the people she loved. Whether it was gathering for holidays, celebrating life’s milestones, or sharing everyday conversations, she treasured every moment spent with her family. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she wasn’t just Grandma—she was a source of unconditional love, encouragement, laughter, and countless cherished memories.
Emma’s faith was the foundation of her life. As a devoted member of Corner Stone Church, she loved her church family and found strength, hope, and purpose in her relationship with Christ. Her faith carried her through life’s joys and hardships alike, and she never lost sight of God’s promises. Even in difficult moments, she trusted that God was always by her side.
She believed life was meant to be enjoyed. Emma loved the excitement of bingo, never passed up the chance to sing karaoke, and could always be found enjoying her favorite country music. She had a wonderful way of finding joy in the simple things and sharing that joy with everyone around her. And at home, her faithful companion Charlie was always close by, bringing her comfort, companionship, and plenty of smiles.
Emma leaves behind a family who will forever carry her love in their hearts: her devoted husband, Roger Bobo; her brother, Martin (Cheryl) Crum Jr.; her sons, Murl Holmes Jr. and Tony (Paula) Holmes; her grandchildren, Ricky (Sara) Smith, Staphan (Quintan) Smith, Christina (Jefferey) Doyle, and Ashley (Jerry) Hunter; her four precious great-grandchildren; her stepson, Jason (Tammy) Bobo; and her step-grandchildren, Gage Bobo and Casey Munyan. She also leaves behind countless friends, her beloved church family, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her kindness and love.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Martin Crum Sr. and Martha Elizabeth (Mills) Crum; her sister, Ruth Headly; and her beloved daughter, Martha (Holmes) Miller. She was also greeted by her first husband, Murl Holmes, Sr, and second husband, Harry Webb.
Although our hearts are broken, we know this is not the end of Emma’s story. Her legacy lives on in every lesson she taught, every hug she gave, every laugh she shared, and every life she touched. We will remember her every time we hear a country song, gather around the bingo table, or simply sit together as a family—the place she loved most.
Until we meet again, we will hold you close in our hearts. Thank you for showing us what it means to love deeply, laugh often, and trust God through every season of life. Your love will continue to guide us, and your memory will forever be a blessing.

A funeral service will be held at 4pm on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church in Duncan Falls. Family will greet friends from 2pm-4pm prior to the service at the church. Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate.
