Evans Brings Fresh Sausage Back to Muskingum County Fair

The Meadow Farm Church has been serving food at the Muskingum County Fair for 52 years. That long standing tradition has always come with fresh cooked sausage.

While that wasn’t the case in the recent years, they are getting back to serving the quality food their customers expect and it’s, in part, thanks to a new helper.

“I’m Steve Evans.” “This year we are selling sausage here at the Meadow Farm Methodist Church Booth.”

Evans is exactly who you might assume he is; the son of Bob Evans, and he’s serving sausage just the way his mother used to make.

“It’s her favorite sausage recipe from 1946, the first year they started.”
