Events to End Summer Right in Zanesville
ZANESVILLE, OH – Summer may be slipping away, but Zanesville isn’t done making memories just yet.
With August just days away, a handful of fun events are still on the calendar, and they’re perfect for soaking up the final stretch of sunshine. First up, the Y-Bridge Arts Festival returns on August 1st through the 2nd at Zane State College. It’s two days of local art, live music, and good food.
“They’re going to have a ton of live music, and all of the artists are going to have their own booths. You can find anything from paintings to sculptures to weaving and different things in between. It’s a great time,” CVB Marketing and Events Specialist, Kaitlynne Peters said. “I believe they have 8 different live music acts between the two days. So, it’s going to be a great diversity of music. Visitors can also interact with artists themselves and also buy pieces if they’re interested in it.”
To cap off the season, Riverfest 2025 floats into Zane’s Landing Park on August 30th. Put on by the Muskingum County Park District, the event features boat rides, live music, food trucks, and plenty of family-friendly fun along the water. Peters said.
“You’ll see events like Float the River; they’ll have kayaks and tubes there where you can get on the river. The Lorena Sternwheeler will also be doing free rides that day. There’s going to be a bunch of food trucks, live music, and a ton of family activities.”
