Evette Corbett

Evette Corbett, 75 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at Altercare on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Evette was born on September 15, 1949, in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. She is the daughter of the late Marshall E. and Geraldine R. (Bergman) Rugh. Evette spent several years working at United Technology and Comfort Inn. She cherished her quiet time, enjoyed playing games on her iPad, loved browsing thrift stores, and had a true passion for motorcycles.

She is survived by her only daughter, Tammy L. Corbett; her grandchildren, Claudia, Faith, Emma, Destiny, Nahzier, Nahjai, Raven, Rayquaan, Rosalind, Billy, and Gina; her several great-grandchildren; her siblings, Elizabeth J. Rugh (formerly Lindimore) and Deborah K. Rugh Markle; her life partner, Roland E. Snodgrass; her special friends, Marlene Harris and Amy Snyder; as well as her two nieces and one nephew, and several friends.

In addition to her parents, Evette is preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine L. Rugh Barker; as well as her niece, Laini.

In keeping with her wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Corbett family.
