F.O.E. Donates to Habitat For Humanity of Southeast Ohio

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio is able to better serve the community thanks to a donation from a local organization.
The Fraternal Order of Eagles made a five thousand dollar donation to Habitat for Humanity. They are a nonprofit organization donating to local communities, fundraisers, and more. The F.O.E. wants to push the Habitat for Humanity to help fulfill their own projects within the community.
“To get people into homes. Get them done as fast as possible. So we have a presentation, and we’re going to give them to help them out with their projects,” said F.O.E. Secretary, William Rucker.
Habitat for Humanity of Southeast Ohio looks to use the donation to transform the lives of individuals in the area by connecting with families in need and working for affordable homes.
“Habitat’s mission is to eliminate poverty housing. And a check like this to an organization like ours is fantastic. We’re very grateful that they would want to support us and we’re happy that they did support us,” said Habitat for Humanity Director of Community Engagement, Melissa Best.
