Faces of Adoption: Thad

This month’s faces of adoption child needs only a ball and the outdoors to keep him busy.

If it’s outdoors that’s where you can find 13-year-old Thad. This teen is happiest when out throwing a football or shooting some hoops.

"I like to play sports. Basketball. football and hockey," said Thad.

Thad holds the position of safety on the football team and following his outdoor theme, camping is one of his favorite activities.

"Fishing, sleep in cabins or tents and a lot of activities," said Thad.

"He really likes to be outside he likes to camp, fish. He’s just an outdoors kind of kid," explained his social worker Tim Williams.

He’s also interested in science.

Thad said, "I like learning how things work."

What Thad needs most is a family to help him in his outdoor adventures. He’s hoping for a mom and dad, some siblings and maybe even a pet.

"He’d fit in best with a family that if there were other kids they were older to give him someone to look up too," said Williams.

"Someone that likes sports," added Thad.
