Fair Exhibits Taken Down

The 164th Muskingum County Blue Ribbon Fair has come to an end.

Visitors had the chance to check out the nearly 1,700 exhibits all week long, but they were cleared off the walls and tables Saturday evening.

"The tearing down is easy. You don’t have to worry about how it’s placed to really make a good show," says Fair Board Vice President, Bill Agin.

The Fair Board does sometimes run into some snags with the exhibits though, making sure each one is returned to the owner who submitted it. Each contestant is given a ticket that matches their exhibit and must be presented during the pick-up time.
