Fall Fun in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, OH – Fall might be right around the corner, but there are still plenty of activities that the whole family can enjoy.

Visit Zanesville has compiled a list full of fall fun with something for just about everyone. Jordin Harmer, the Information Specialist with Visit Zanesville, says just because summer is ending, it doesn’t mean the fun has to as well.

“There’s lots going on, we’ll still have the Lorena Sternwheeler and it’ll be running until the middle of October. We’ll have the Downtown Zanesville ghost tours again,” Harmer said. “The Y-City Scarecrow Contest, we’re going to have lots of outdoor events. Dillon State Park will be hosting not only Halloween events, but also fall outdoor events.”

Some other fun things to check out are McDonald’s Greenhouse and Corn Maze, PV’s Pumpkin Patch, as well as the First Friday Art Walks on October 4th and November 1st.

Harmer says this is the perfect time to get out of the house before the weather begins to cool down.

“It’s just good to be out and spend time with the kids, spend time with the family and make memories,” Harmer said. “There are events for all ages and all physical capabilities, it’s just good to get out because you’re going to be stuck inside more in the winter time, so get that fresh air while you can.”
