Farm Fresh Offerings

Huston Farm’s fresh food market on Maple Avenue gave out free samples to loyal customers today.

The market has seen an increase in customers since its debut in August.

"We’ve been so happy with our response from the community we thought this is a good time to tell people thank you and let them maybe try some new ways of tasting some of the products that we have," said owner Bill Huston.

The market recently branched out and now offers food from Rittberger Meats, another Zanesville farm that has been in business for over a century. The push for local produce has helped the market expand.

"It’s all about local, I’ve got some other things that we’re bringing. I’ve got local brown eggs, organically fed, I’ve got local chickens coming in the very, very near future we’ve got local Tilapia fish coming from Muskingum County again," said Andy Rittberger.

Huston Market is open seven days a week and will remain open throughout the winter.
