Fatal barn fire in Coshocton County

COSHOCTON,Ohio— Authorities in Coshocton County are investigating a barn fire that claimed the lives of three juveniles and injured another.

It happened just before 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 21000 block of State Route 60 near Warsaw.

Sheriff Tim Rogers said his office received a 911 call in reference to a structure fire with possible entrapment.

Rogers said when the Walhonding Valley Fire Department arrived on scene a barn was fully involved and collapsing.

He said it was later confirmed to be a fatal fire and the State Fire Marshal’s Office was contacted to assist in the investigation.
