Fatal Crash in Coshocton County

COSHOCTON, Ohio- A Coshocton County man is dead following a fatal car crash on state route 79.

Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said they received the call at approximately 6 p.m Saturday evening in reference to a one vehicle accident at 23570 State Route 79. Upon arrival of emergency personnel it was discovered that 27 year old Ronald Holbrook was headed northbound on state route 79 and struck a bridge that was under contruction. Holbrook of Coshocton, was pronounced deceased at the scene. According to Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office speed and alcohol played a role in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
