Fatal Crash in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The State Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle fatal crash on State Route 93.

It happened shortly after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday  near Dent Road in Monroe Township, Muskingum County.

Troopers said  63-year-old Timothy Lloyd Ickes of Zanesville was travelling north on State Route 93 when his truck went off the right side of the road into a ditch and then overturned.

Authorities said Ickes died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation
