Fatal Motorcycle Accident Investigated

The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office says an Adamsville woman was killed in motorcycle accident over the weekend. Captain Jeff LeCocq says 55-year-old Susan Bilyeu (bah-lou) was a passenger on the motorcycle that was heading east on State Route 208, just east of Dresden Saturday afternoon around 3:30. LeCocq says the driver of the cycle was Bilyeu’s husband, Dana, who had to make a sudden stop which ejected Mrs. Bilyeu. She later died at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Bilyeu was also taken to Good Sam and then transferred to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.. LeCocq says both were wearing helmets. The accident remains under investigation.
