Festival of Trees Registration Deadline

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Time is running out for Zanesville – Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce members to sign up for the ‘Festival of Trees’.

More than half of the positions in the 25th annual ‘Festival of Trees’ have been reserved and the official deadline to register is Friday November 10, 2017. President, Dana Matz said they can have anywhere between 200 and 225 members sign up.

“Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for the Chamber of Commerce, [which] has been in business since 1905,” Matz said. “The neat thing about this is, we’ll have 200 or more entries and so people can bid on the entries live on the radio or in person. It’s always a fun day.”

The Chamber of Commerce proudly has 701 area members this year. So the money raised through the ‘Festival of Trees’ will help future programs with those members.

“It helps us with our operations, which by our operations I’m talking about training programs for local businesses, marketing programs, and the work that we do being connector between businesses,” Matz said. “The whole purpose of the chamber is to help the area businesses.”
