Fight in Corning Seriously Injures Man
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office is investigatng a man found bleeding on the ground with head injuries. Sheriff William Barker says around 6:50 Wednesday morning deputies were called to 107 North Valley Street in Corning and found 54-year-old Jeffrey Patton of Logan on the ground with severe head trama and difficutly breathing. Barker says he was rushed to Genesis HealthCare in Zanesville and remains in critical condition Thursday. Investigators say they learned that on Wednesday Patton was involved in an altercation where he was found on the ground and the suspect fled the scene. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call the Perry County Sheriff’s Office.
