Fink’s Saturday Night Blitz – Meadowbrook, Licking Valley, Ridgewood advance

SOUTHEAST, Ohio – Meadowbrook, Licking Valley and Ridgewood all punched its ticket to the regional semifinals, Saturday night.

Meadowbrook was in a slugfest with Gallia Academy, 14 total touchdowns between the two teams. The Colts delivered more punches to take down Gallia 58-40 in the Division IV, Region 15 quarterfinal.

Davis Singleton had seven total touchdowns, six passing and one rushing, six coming in the first half.

The #4 Colts advance to the regional semifinals to take on top seeded St. Clairsville, Saturday night.

Licking Valley was hosting Heath in the Division IV, Region 15 quarterfinal. This one was all Panthers, who roll to a 49-0 win.

The #2 Panthers advance to take on #3 Bloom Carroll in the regional semifinals, Saturday night.

Ridgewood continued it’s dominance this season, the Generals top Liberty Union, 43-7.

The #2 Generals trailed for the first time all season, 7-0 in the first quarter, however quarterback Gabe Tingle and company wouldn’t be phased.

Tingle had 5 touchdowns and 350 total yards to lead Ridgewood to victory.

The Generals advance to the Division V, Region 19 quarterfinals, where they’ll host third seeded Wheelersburg.

#8 Granville falls to #1 Columbus St. Francis Desales, 56-35, in the Division III, Region 11 quarterfinals.
