Fire and Power Outage on Adair Avenue

More than 550 Zanesville American Electric Power Customers lost power Monday night.  According to Tim Wells, a spokesman with AEP, there was a pole fire around 10 p.m on Adair Avenue near the intersection of Blue Avenue. The Zanesville Police Department says the fire caused a transformer to fall and ignite part of the woods near Cedar Hill. A.E.P crews are on scene and they have no time table yet as to when power will be restored.
