Fires on Pinecrest Drive Being Called Suspicious

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio–The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to help investigate multiple fires that have occurred on a property at 6550 Pinecrest Drive .
National Trails Fire Department’s Chief Tom Roberts said the most recent fires happened Thursday around 3:30 a.m. He said when crews arrived on scene they found a shed and a barn on fire.
Chief Roberts said the shed was destroyed and that they were able to contain the fire to one side of the barn .
Crews from Falls Township and Licking Township Fire Departments assisted on the scene.
Chief Roberts said earlier this month crews were called to another fire that happened on this property. On September 7th, around 2:30 p.m., crews were called to a fully involved house fire. The home was ruled a total loss.
Chief Roberts said the fires have been ruled suspicious.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office are assisting in the investigation.
