Florafino’s Talks Valentine’s Day

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Florafino’s on Maple Avenue has been a Zanesville staple for over thirty years and has helped many men make Valentine’s gifts.
This year the usual rush will look different due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Owner Gregory Orofino tells us more.
“We have to spread things out so we’re asking everybody to come in a little bit earlier. The problem is: I can’t have 25 guys in here at one time and have them six feet apart. If people could come in, and we’ve had people coming in already, if they could come in earlier in the week or have it delivered, whatever they’d like to do. We’re gonna have extra drivers so all you have to do is come in and place the order or go online, we have all our specials online.”, Orofino explained.
Even though the pandemic has altered businesses, Florafino’s still has quite the spread prepared. The shop is especially proud of its assortment of roses.
“We have roses of every color, we have roses of every color in our rainbow roses. You can get something different like that, you can get pink tuitions, you can get red, white, lavender, yellow. All sorts of colors on the roses. Stargazer lilies are always a big seller for us, they’re a lily that is pink and white on the same flower. Then we’ll have loose bouquets for people to come, get and then go ahead and take off with.”, Orofino continued.
More information on the shop can be found on its Facebook page.
