Floral Bouquets say ‘I Love You’ this Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is just days away and many are rushing to find a gift for their special someone.

Over 19 billion dollars is expected to be spent on sweethearts in the United States this holiday and Greg Orofino has been in the business of love for over 32 years. He said while there’s always expensive jewelry, or a night out on the town, you can’t go wrong with a bouquet of sentiment on this Valentine’s Day.

"Flowers are a gift, visually and fragrance wise," said Orofino. "Women love to receive flowers. I mean they always bring a smile to everybody’s face so it’s an inexpensive way to say ‘I love you’ and it’s also something that’s very colorful and fun to receive. "

Orofino said to pick the flower, just buy the ones that match your Valentine’s personality and if you’re having a hard time choosing the perfect posy, red roses always say ‘I love you.’

"Red is the color of love," said Orofino. "It’s always been that way and it expresses your emotions in that regard so it’s been marketed for years that way. Since I was a little boy I remember red roses. At the time it was ‘American Beauty’ roses now we have something called ‘Freedom Roses’ that last a really long time, have a lot of petal count to them and open beautifully so red is still the number one rose by far. It’s not even close to any other color."

Florafino’s will ship out thousands of flowers Sunday.
