Floyd “Danny” Robbins

Floyd Daniel “Danny” Robbins, 67, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Mount Carmel Hospital. He was born May 4, 1957, in Zanesville to the late Floyd C. and Henrietta Leroy Robbins. He worked for 47 years with close friends, the Browning family of South Zanesville, who owned City Electric. For the past few months he worked for the Electrician’s Union, Local #1105. Floyd was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #302, where he was a former treasurer and also a member of the Sons of the American Legion. He loved NASCAR, hockey and watching the Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his daughter: Keri Smith; brothers: John Robbins and Mark (Patty) Robbins; sisters: Debbie (Art) Gard and Crystal Patterson; grandchildren: Brittney Pieper, Paige Hendrix, Kody Melvin, Hayden Watton, Adelynn Saltz and Landon Anders; great grandchildren: Hayden Addilyn and Andrew Jacob Hendrix; countless nieces and nephews; lifetime friend Glen Haddix; and companion of 40 plus years Karla Jean Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law Leona Robbins.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7PM, Sunday, March 30, 2025, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE, OHIO. The funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, March 31, 2025, in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
