Forestry Jobs

Funding from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will provide employment opportunities for about 70 Ohioans.

The Ohio Division of Forestry will form 14 crews of five people. They will receive training and will work at nine state forests, including Blue Rock State Forest here in Muskingum County and Hocking State Forest in Hocking County.

Crews will work 25 weeks, focusing their efforts on plants, timber, and trail maintenance.
